Resumen

Las mujeres campesinas e indígenas en Paraguay están más expuestas a diferentes formas de violencia desplegadas en las zonas rurales con el aval del Estado paraguayo por parte de agronegocios, inmobiliarias y el crimen organizado, a través de fuerzas militares y paramilitares. Ante esta violencia estructural, las mujeres más vulnerables del Paraguay, país con la tenencia de tierra más desigual del mundo, responden con diversas formas de organización autogestionadas orientadas a fortalecer el tejido social para la resistencia y supervivencia en situaciones límites durante la pandemia de COVID-19. 

Abstract

Peasant and indigenous women in Paraguay are more exposed to different forms of violence deployed in rural areas with the endorsement of the Paraguayan State by agribusiness, real estate companies and organized crime, through military and paramilitary forces. Faced with this structural violence, the most vulnerable women in Paraguay, a country with the most unequal land tenure in the world, respond with various forms of self-organization aimed at strengthening the social fabric for resistance and survival in extreme situations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
